Florida Courts Technology Commission Seeks Public Member

The Florida Courts Technology Commission is currently accepting applications to fill a public member vacancy on the Commission. Applications are due by May 31, 2024.

The Commission was established in Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.236 to oversee, manage, and direct the development and use of technology within the judicial branch under the direction of the Supreme Court. Responsibilities of the Commission include making recommendations to the Supreme Court on all matters of technology policy impacting the judicial branch, making recommendations to the Supreme Court regarding policies for public access to electronic court records, and developing and maintaining security policies that must be utilized to ensure the integrity and availability of court technology systems and related data, to name a few.
